John worked at a local museum for ten years as the facilities manager taking care of, and repairing, everything tangible you could lay hands on, including the computers and networking equipment. His work at the museum led him to join InfraNet. For years prior, John worked in non-profits holding various business manager positions, where he always had to immerse himself in the IT infrastructure. His original training was as a technical director and lighting designer in the theater.

John loves carpentry and home rebuilding projects. He also enjoys beekeeping and tending to his organic farm.
